JS&A Selected to Relocate International Myeloma Conference to the United States

In response to terror attacks in India the Organizing Committee of the XII International Myeloma Workshop relocated the bi-annual event to Washington, D.C. J. Spargo & Associates, a leader in the medical meeting management arena was chosen to orchestrate the move. In less than three months the planning team at JS&A successfully located and booked venues, organized housing and registration and assisted the scientific program committee with speaker communications and content management.  Remarkably very few registrants withdraw their participation as a result of the move. An increase in registration numbers was realized following the re-opening of registration in early January. In additional, corporate support and exhibitor participation was very strong.

The XII International Myeloma Workshop was held February 26-March 1, 2009 at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington, D.C.
