Fairfax, March 26, 2009: After a lengthy and comprehensive RFP process, APTA just announced that J. Spargo & Associates, Inc. will manage the convention housing operations for its two largest events each year.

"Our comprehensive online reporting tools that focus on comparative data will allow APTA to spot trends and better manage their room blocks," said Susan Bracken, President and COO of J. Spargo & Associates, Inc. "In addition, JS&A and APTA will work to integrate the housing and registration processes to provide a one-stop shopping environment for attendees and exhibitors," Bracken noted.

JS&A is currently contracted to provide services through 2012 with the first event staging in February 2010 in San Diego, CA. Each year APTA will host approximately 8,500 attendees at their Combined Section Meetings and 2,200 attendees at their Annual Conferences.
